Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Bikini Waxing.

Ideally hair should be about 1/4 to 1/2 inch long so the wax grips properly. If hair is longer we can trim; too short hair may not remove effectively. Avoid shaving for at least three weeks prior.

Some discomfort is normal, especially during the first appointment. We use quick techniques, calming wax, and can apply topical numbing on request. Breathing, relaxing, and regular waxing as hair thins will reduce sensitivity over time.

Most clients return every four to six weeks depending on individual hair growth. Regular waxing weakens follicles and may lengthen intervals. We'll recommend a personalized schedule based on your regrowth and desired maintenance.

Pregnancy is generally safe for bikini waxing though sensitivity can increase; consult your healthcare provider if concerned. During menstruation some clients feel more tender—consider scheduling outside that time if preferred, but waxing is still possible.

Exfoliate gently a day or two before, avoid heavy lotions or oils on the area, and arrive clean. Wear comfortable underwear you don't mind removing. Communicate any skin concerns, allergies, or medications to your technician beforehand.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, intense exercise, and tight clothing for 24–48 hours to prevent irritation. Use recommended soothing lotions or aloe, exfoliate gently after 48–72 hours, and avoid sun exposure to reduce ingrown hairs and redness.
