Temporary redness, mild swelling, or follicle sensitivity are common and typically subside within a few hours to days. Avoid sun exposure, hot tubs, and heavy exfoliation immediately after waxing. Contact us if prolonged irritation, bumps, or signs of infection occur.
Light acne is usually okay but active inflamed cystic acne should be avoided to prevent irritation and spread. Our technicians will assess your skin and may recommend alternative hair removal or reschedule until breakouts improve.
